Welcome to Artisan Yorkies LLC, where passion meets excellence in Yorkshire Terrier breeding.
I’m Caitlin, a licensed breeder in Northern Virginia, dedicated to raising healthy, beautiful Yorkies with outstanding temperaments. I carefully plan litters, adult Yorkies are Optimal Selection DNA genetic health tested and are AKC and/or CKC registered.
As a lifelong Yorkshire Terrier lover and the spouse of a veteran, I uphold values of dedication, integrity, and care in everything I do. My commitment ensures each puppy is raised with love, health, and breed excellence in mind.

Meet the Dams and Sires!
Cassie
Cassie is a Traditional Yorkshire Terrier Dam and doesn’t carry any colors. She is an outgoing girl, who loves everyone she meets, showers them with kisses, loves belly rubs and has a cat for a best friend.
Bri
Bri is a Parti Yorkshire Terrier Dam and carries chocolate. Sugar and spice would best describe her. Bri loves everyone she meets, is an amazing mom, and loves to give kisses. She is small but mighty!
Maleficent
Maleficent is a KB black Yorkshire Terrier Dam and carries chocolate and Parti. She is our dancing queen. Maleficent loves to stand on her hind legs and spin around, play with the little puppies and sit on her daddy’s lap while he works.
Bean
Bean is a KB black Yorkshire Terrier Sire and carries dark face mask with the cutest button eyes. He is a shy guy with a heart of gold. He loves to play, give kisses and be chased around with a toy.
GusGus
GusGus is a KB Sable (commonly called Seal) Yorkshire Terrier Sire and carries blonde, chocolate, dominant (KB) and recessive black and the dark face gene. He is the happiest little boy; always ready to play, snuggle and watch the birds outside.
🧬-note-CDDY (shorter legs) and IVVD-1 copy. Dogs with 1 copy of these mutations have a 0.05% chance of developing Intervertebral Disk Disease and can have shorter legs.
Retired Dams and Sires
Maple-retired
Maple is our Chocolate Dam who only carries chocolate. She is a very sweet, calm girl who hardly ever barks, loves her belly rubs and snuggling on your lap.
Blue-retired
Blue is a traditional Blue Merle, partial diamond. He carries chocolate and recessive red. His favorite activities are racing around the yard, playing with his dog and cat friends, and snuggling up on his window hammock.
