Retired adults will be spayed/neutered prior to going to their new home. All adults will be vet checked and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fees are calculated based on costs to spay/neuter and veterinary care prior to go home.

Latika Graceful Vine, AKC

Tika is a beautiful 3-year-old Traditional Yorkshire Terrier, born July 10, 2023. She joined our family in late April 2026 and has quickly become a much-loved member of our household. She has gorgeous button eyes, a distinctive dark mask, and a very sweet expression.

Tika is an affectionate companion who loves napping on the couch, giving kisses, and chasing balls. She is crate trained at bedtime, gets along wonderfully with other Yorkies, and is eager to please. She would do very well with continued positive-reinforcement obedience training.

Tika will need continued work with potty training as she transitions to her new home. With patience, consistency, and a good routine, we expect her to make excellent progress.

Tika delivered a litter of puppies on July 5, 2026. Following a complication, we made the difficult decision to have her spayed. She has recovered very well and will be available following a final veterinary examination and clearance.

Placing Tika is a very difficult decision, especially so soon after welcoming her into our family. However, we believe she would thrive best in a calmer, less hectic home where she can receive plenty of individual attention and companionship.

She would do well with another friendly dog or with a family where someone works from home or can spend plenty of time with her. Our priority is finding Tika a loving, stable forever home where she will be cherished as a companion.
